ROBERTA’S PIZZA ON OCTOBER 2
On Saturday afternoon we got a phone call from our friends Matt and Jenn to invite us to go to Roberta’s Pizza in Brooklyn. Without a doubt we jumped into this Bushwick adventure and after a 20 minutes car ride, we arrived to a very low-key door. Passing the curtain there it was, a very cozy and honest ambiance where you can really smell the delicious food that is being prepared. [br]

We couldn’t resist to try the brick oven pizza, beautifully done, at the end we believe it’s all about the crust. From the menu we tasted the Margherita pizza (Tomato, mozzarella and basil), Good choice June, Chicken by the sea ( Tomato, Sicilian tuna belly, onion, capers, garlic and oregano), The M. Martigan (Pesto, mozzarella, mushroom and artichoke), The crispy Glover (Tomato, Taleggio, Garlic, Guanciale, Onion, Breadcrumbs and pepperoncini oil), and Ricotta, anchovies and basil Pizza. We also enjoyed a Six Point Sweet Action Pitcher and red wine. Such a nice and sunny Saturday afternoon.
