A VISIT TO SIP AND APPETIZERS ON AUGUST 20
On Friday afternoon I decided to stop by Sip Fine Wine in Park Slope to get some wine. Basically I was so inspired by the wines from Portugal and Spain that we enjoyed on Alfonso’s birthday that I that thought would be a good idea to learn more about their regional wines and get some good variety to pair with food. That day they were offering a taste of 3 wines: [br]
Albariño Segrel 2009 | Spain[br]
Pago del Vicario Blanco de Tempranillo 2009 | Spain [br]
Yali Merlot Rose 2009 | Chile[br]
I got them all and also 3 more:[br]
Primitivo Quiles Cono 4 de Pura Cepa 2008 | Spain, which we tasted the same night. We were really delighted with this wine and I’m about to get more bottles for later.[br]
Emilio Moro Finca Resalco 2007 | Spain, definitely one of the best red wines that I have tried on the longest time. If you find it somewhere get a bottle. :)[br]
Dao Outeiro 2007 | Portugal, another fantastic red wine. For sure we will try more wines for Portugal.[br]
