JULY BEER TASTING
By now it’s a tradition for these home brewers, to constantly taste new beers so once a month we do a tasting event to compare up to 6 beers and learn about the brewers, the techniques and tradition behind.[br]

Definitely our favorite from this tasting, another wonderful creation by Dogfish Head Craft Brewed Ales and the vision behind Sam Calagione. This Imperial I.P.A. has great malt and hops tones and has taste notes of brandied fruitcake, raisins and citrus. In their website they recommend a paring with Pork chops, beef, grilled fish, frites, focaccia, split pea soup, Stilton cheese & escargot.[br]

Samurai is an easy drinking and unfiltered ale, brewed with rice and barley malts. Definitely not our favorite beer from the tasting, but because of its lightness, we can see a good paring with seared tuna, goat cheese, nachos or bar snacks.[br]
