FLANK STEAK SANDWICH AND HOULINI CHEESE SANDWICH AT BONNIE's GRILL ON NOVEMBER 20
We like this little place. they make the best burgers in park slope and probably in brooklyn.( I don’t know yet. it would be fun to know for sure).
Claudia ordered this very good grilled houlini cheese and sun-dried tomato sandwich . I had the grilled flank stake sandwich . This guys at Bonnie’s take the time and care to toast the buns on the fire grill, which makes a big difference, I think, on the way a Sandwich flies. the grilled flank steak was nicely done, served as an open face sandwich and topped over with a mound of oily wilted fried, not grilled- onions with a green pepper sliver . it was dripping in oil. I had to scoop it all aside. I still ate all my fries (with that pink mayonnaise based sauce of theirs).
Claudia took this picture of her plate with direct flash and it didn’t come out so bad in the way of description. The photo of my sandwich, taken with out flash, came out blurry and was deleted (by C.) -Sorry, no pic..
this is a weird hot sauce: distilled capsaicin, vinegar, salt and water. No color, No flavor and Very hot!
