FESTIVE PIZZA ON NOVEMBER 10
An other pizza! an other quickie. : frozen dough, thawed in the fridge all day, and shaped round and proofed again.
while rising, I made a pizza sauce from scratch. : chopped a few tomatoes, and just cooked the shit out of them for about half-an-hour. added some salt, powdered garlic, oregano and white wine, mashed it all with the hand-held immersion blender and continued cooking until it was reduced to almost a thick marinara sauce.
First I pre-cooked the pie in a preheated stone at 475º for five minutes before adding the toppings.
the topping were just three kinds of cheese, onions, green olives and red peppers.
