BREAKFAST SANDWICH (BRUNCH) AND 2 WAYS PASTA (DINNER) ON NOVEMBER 7
I made these sandwiches for lunch on Saturday. pan seared sliced ham , melted cheese and a fried egg on slices of a fresh loaf of white bread that Claudia baked this morning.
Tonight we thought about going out for dinner again, but it got a little late and it gets crowded fast on saturday nights, so i decided to make something nice and quick at home instead.
So pasta two ways is a way of making two completely different dishes out of the same base.
That way we could share two different variations of one pot.
After cooking and draining the rigatoni, and filling two buttered clay pots i just poured different sauces on them: one was basil pesto with goat cheese crumbles and the other one was all mixed with a nice jar tomato sauce and covered with a béchamel sauce with mozzarella cubes and both topped with freshly grated aged parmesan cheese and placed under the broiler until they both had a nice golden crust.
