ANTICUCHOS

We wanted a light easy dinner, so we had these beautiful shell steaks that we cubed and tossed with some salt, pepper and olive oil.  skewered the cubes alternating with onions and red and green bell peppers and broiled in the oven at the hi setting for about 6 minutes per side. While typically grilled in charcoal,  we call these “anticuchos” in Chile. in Peru anticuchos would be the same but made with cubed cow heart instead of beef.
